Do you have a routine in your art room? Following a pattern can help students know what to expect. Post the routine where it can be seen and follow it – most of the time. Sometimes, you might want to change it up, but overall, these five steps cover what we do in art daily. Download the Art Procedure Poster Here.
Poster Printing Tips
If you’re investing in printing and laminating your posters, help them last longer by adding grommets. It’s an easy addition to simplify hanging and increase the poster’s longevity.
- Size: 18.5-inch x 24.5 inch
- Laminate (I used 30 lb lamination)
- Add 6 1-inch grommets to each corner and one above and below the center
- Hang with 3M hooks – twist hook to get a taught poster on the wall
- Begin marking the corner of the poster with a small pencil dot.
- Place the eyelet on the inside of the tool.
- Place the grommet tool over the dot.
- Squeeze the tool and release.
- Repeat for each desired area.
- Hang with a 3M removable wall hook. (I flipped the hooks in the directions I needed for above and below the poster creating the flat pull against the wall.
